Another Major Recall From Graco
If you've got your kiddos in a Graco car seat, you're going to want to pay close attention. You may have heard they had a massive recall last month. Well, that recall has just gotten bigger. While last month's recall was for 3.8 million seats, today's recall adds another 403,000 to that list. On top of that, some sources are reporting the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration wants to add even more seats, upwards of 1.8 million more. All of this concerns the buckles, that have been found to not work properly, and make it very difficult to remove the child from the seat in case of emergency.
According to info on Graco's site, this only impacts Toddler convertible seats, not infant seats, and includes the following models from 2006-2014: Cozy Cline, Comfort Sport, Classic Ride 50, My Ride 65, My Ride 70, My Ride 65 with Safety Surround, Size4Me 70, My Size 70, Head Wise 70 with Safety Surround, Ready Ride, Smart Seat, Smart Seat with Safety Surround, and Toddler SafeSeat - Step 2. Harnessed Booster Seats: Nautilus 3-in-1, Nautilus Elite, Nautilus Plus, Argos 70, and Argos 70 Elite. If you already have the square red button on the latch, you're most likely okay.
