Whether you're from Iowa's largest city (Des Moines) or smallest town (Le Roy), every Iowan has a reason to brag about our history.

The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs is starting a new video campaign that according to a news release, will celebrate "milestones, accomplishments, and achievements related to Iowa culture."

The Des Moines Register says the campaign will officially kick off on December 28, which just happens to be our state's 170th birthday. Iowa became the 29th state December 28, 1846.
