We are right in the middle of the big fall TV season, and I may have over-committed to the number of shows I'm watching.

There are some parts of the year where I'm glued to my Netflix, trying to catch up on entire seasons of shows that I've missed, and then there are times when I'm trying to watch every show while it's being aired on cable so I can avoid trying to rapidly watch everything later on Netflix. This is one of those times.

The fall is my favorite time of year for TV. I normally have about 2 shows that I'm addicted to, and I make sure to watch them live (or DVR them if I REALLY have to). For some reason, this season I have 5. FIVE. You may be thinking, "Courtlin, that doesn't sound like a lot," but if you really think about it, that's a lot of time to watch TV on a weekly basis. Not to mention the shows that I'm in the middle of on Netflix. Here are the shows I'm watching as they air:

  • The Walking Dead (which premiered last night!!!) - AMC
  • American Horror Story: Hotel - FX
  • The Muppet Show - ABC
  • Saturday Night Live - NBC
  • Scream Queens - FOX

Here are the shows I am currently in the middle of on Netflix:

  • Daredevil
  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
  • Friends
  • Scandal

That's a total of 9 TV shows that I'm committed to at the same time, and I'm emotionally invested in almost all of them. IT'S TEARING ME APART.

I realize that this isn't a real life problem, and it's really stupid, but I still might need an Intervention.

What shows are you addicted to watching right now, whether they be live on TV or on Netflix?
