Since I was on vacation last week, I'm doing double-duty this week with my movie reviews. I have my review for two different movies, and I'll be posting one today and one tomorrow. One of the movies I watched is brand new, so I'm hitting that one first: Jurassic World (2015).

I have to say, I'm really upset at all the people hating on this movie, because I absolutely LOVED it! The plot has some holes, and it's fairly predictable and over-the-top, but it was SO entertaining! Once they started showing the dinosaurs I was totally hooked.

I'm a big fan of the original Jurassic Park, but I was really excited to see what the dinos in this movie looked like. Special effects are so different now than they were 22 years ago when the original flick was released, and it was definitely impressive. Chris Pratt's acting was by no means amazing, but it's a big summer action flick, so I thought he filled the role very well (plus, he's not bad to look at!). I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie, and there were also quite a few "lol" moments.

The final dinosaur battle blew me away. I won't spoil it for you, but even if you hate the rest of the movie, I would be shocked if you didn't find the fight scene impressive. I mean, HUGE dinosaurs battling each other? What more could you want from a summer blockbuster?

Overall, I recommend seeing the movie. At least you won't be bored for 2 hours!

This week I'll be going back to the classics, so if you have any suggestions for me, leave them below!
