Beer, brats, games, live music, and even a parade! It's all happening this weekend in the Amana Colonies for Oktoberfest 2016.

If you're looking for a fun event to kick off the fall season, Oktoberfest is the perfect choice. I went to my first one last year, and I'll be going back again this weekend to enjoy my three favorite things: beer, live music, and FOOD. And the best part is, you can enjoy all the festivities whether you're German or not!

Oktoberfest runs Friday through Sunday, and if you plan on coming on either Friday or Saturday, a 1-day pass will cost you $10. If you plan on coming both those days, a 2-day pass will cost you $15. Sunday will cost you absolutely nothing!
