Spooky Drink Ideas for Halloween Parties
If you're having a party for Halloween this year, let me help you with some "spooky" drink ideas. I love Halloween, it's one of my favorite celebration's of the year! My party this year will feature two of my favorites Halloween drinks that I found on Mr.Booze.com. Enjoy!
Drink #1-Dracula's Kiss
Yes, unfortunately you are going to need a weird flavored vodka for this one, but we promise it's worth it! This Halloween drink is sure to be a hit with your guests. Not to mention, it looks awesome.
Here we go –
2 oz black cherry vodka
1/2 oz grenadine
The instructions on Mr. Booze says to "swirl the grenadine around the bottom half of a clear high-ball glass till the glass is coated." Next you'll want to add ice, then the vodka. Fill it up with some dark soda and finish it off with a couple cherries. Also, use black straws if available. This was a huge hit at my party last year. My buddy Doug has seven of them before he passed out in the hallway... He's not invited this year
Drink #2-The Acapulco Zombie
Anything with the word Zombie is great for Halloween. My friend told me about this drink and I made a batch for a that I had this summer. Thankfully, Doug didn't attend. The AZ is an easy & spooky drink to batch ahead of time. I'm ready for one right now...it's been a long week! Here are the instructions on how to make this creepy cocktail according to Mr. Booze.com.
Here we go –
1 ½ oz tequila
1 ½ oz vodka
1 ½ oz dark rum
2 oz orange juice
2 oz grapefruit juice
1 tsp grenadine
Dash or two of white crème de menthe
The website says to "shake all ingredients except crème de menthe in a shaker till cold. Pour into a hi-ball glass over ice & top with a couple dashes of the crème de menthe. Stir softly and garnish with a maraschino cherry". You'll LOVE it!
I hope you have fun making these fun Halloween cocktails! If you know where I live, stop by my party for a taste. And if you know my buddy Doug, convince him I'm out of town for Halloween visiting my Uncle Bill.
