Just about everyone has a bucket-list, and most people probably have something related to setting a Guinness World Record, or witnessing a historic event, right?  Well Saturday night, it's your chance to do both at the Cedar Rapids Titans game.During halftime, all fans in attendance will be working together to set the Guinness World Record for the world's longest wave, which means everyone has to participate, and keep it going for over 8 minutes.  Going to be quite a feat, but to be a part of history... why not?

Also at halftime, it's the finale of our Collins Community Credit Union Scholarship.  Over the past few months, we've watched local High School students have been facing off for the chance at a $500 scholarship, and $250 for their school.  Saturday night, we found out takes the money home, as Sam Scriver of Springville faces off against Dereck Fye of Prairie.  This is Sam's 3rd and final trip to the Championship, as he is a Senior.  He fell just short to Solon last year, and was edged out by Jefferson and Kennedy  2 years ago as a Sophomore.   He'll be facing off against a Sophomore: Dereck, who is not a Quarterback, but might want to consider, as he's got a gun for an arm.

Both contestants have been perfect in both their preliminary rounds, eliminating Xavier, Linn-Mar, Kennedy, Marion, Washington, and Central City.  This weekend, we set each target back 5 yards, and see if the competition comes down to speed, the tie-breaker if perfection is reached again.  Either way, this will be one exciting, and possibly historic night of indoor football in Cedar Rapids.
