The Iowa women's basketball team is losing two players to transfer to other schools, including one who has started nearly every game of her Iowa career.

Guard Whitney Jennings, who's started 62 of the 67 games in her Hawkeyes career is leaving the program. Jennings put up 626 points, 191 assists, 169 rebounds and 77 steals during her freshmen and sophomore campaigns at Iowa. She'll have two years of eligibility remaining, wherever she lands.

Jennings made this statement, via a press release from the University: "I want to thank coach Bluder and Iowa women's basketball for the tremendous opportunity, but have decided to continue my academic and basketball career at a place closer to home."

Forward Tagyn Larson has also announced she's transferring after playing in five games during her freshmen season.

Iowa's only returning guards this fall will be Ally Disterhoft, Alexa Kastanek, and Tania Davis. The Hawkeyes have six forwards on the current roster.
