Keira Knightley Talks Working With Adam Levine + Getting Red Carpet-Ready [PHOTO]
The 29-year-old actress confessed to the magazine that she looks forward to the glitz and glam nature of red carpet events. "I love the bit before, when I’ve got hair and makeup and there’s always a bottle of champagne open, and [my hair and makeup team] have been doing me for the past 10 years and are very close friends," she admitted. "And you know, there are some ridiculous dresses out there. And where on earth are you going to get to wear any of them other than on the red carpet? That’s kind of a privilege — dressing up as that sort of person and playing her for a few minutes."
Between 2012 and 2013, Knightley took somewhat of a break between 'Anna Karenina' and 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' as she lived a modest lifestyle during that period. When asked about her self-imposed salary earning of only $50,000 for 2012, Knightley said, "I think living an [expensive] lifestyle means you can't hang out with people who don't live that lifestyle. It alienates you. Some of my best, most hilarious times have been in the least luxurious places."
When talk turned to 'Begin Again,' Keira gushed about working with Adam Levine, telling the magazine, "He did play a d---head very well. Actually, I admire him being so willing. To play a d---head is quite a big thing when you are trying to break into film and you want to be likable."
