The only thing muddy on the field in Iowa City this weekend might be Northern Illinois' play against Iowa.

It's opening weekend at Kinnick, but Iowa City saw loads of rain, almost 2 inches in one shot earlier this week, flooding Kinnick Stadium and leaving some to wonder if the field would be in playing shape by Saturday.

Are you ready for some football? They will be in Iowa City, Saturday with a 2:30 kickoff on the Big Ten Network. Check local listings, as they say.

As for the forecast Saturday itself? CBS2 says it might storm a little, otherwise Mostly Cloudy and 83. Nothing that will stop the game from going on, hopefully!
