It's not every day that a commissioner of one of the major sports leagues makes a stop in Iowa. Thursday, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, along with Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz, will appear at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville.

The two will give details about the touring National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The tour will visit several U.S. cities over the next several years. According to MLB, it will feature IMAX film footage the highlights the past, present, and future of baseball.

The press conference is set to begin at 3 p.m. Thursday with a question and answer town hall session for fans to follow.
