Monica Lewinsky will speak at the University of Iowa campus next week. We all remember Lewinsky from her relationship with President Bill Clinton in 1995, while she was a serving as a White House intern.

The UI Lecture Committee announced that Lewinsky will speak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24th, in the Iowa Memorial Union. The Iowa Memorial Union is located 125 North Madison Street on the University of Iowa campus.

The title of her speech will be "The Price of Shame." According to the UI Lecture Committee web site, "Lewinsky advocates for a safer and more compassionate social media environment, drawing from her unique experiences at the epicenter of a media maelstrom in 1998."

Lewinsky has been speaking out publicly against cyberbullying, something she experienced first hand during the Clinton scandal. This should be a very interesting event to attend. For more information, visit www.lectures.uiowa.edu
