It was a wild night at the US Cellular Center tonight, as the Titans dominated Tri-Cities, while fans remained updated on the Hawkeye's domination of Davidson.  Domination was not the case for the 3rd round of the Collins Community Credit Union Scholarship Scramble however.

It was a battle of previous champions, as it was first season winning school Jefferson, up against last year's winning school, Prairie.  After the coin-toss, it was ruled that Dylian from Jefferson would be the first one up.

After the first ball got away from him, Dylian recovered, hitting his 3rd and 4th shot, putting him at 4 points, with only one toss left.  However, that ball would not connect for this Jefferson freshman, and he ended with 4 points in 36 seconds.

Up next was David from Prairie, looking to defend the Prairie title, while hoping to advance for the chance at the $500 scholarship.  David was tossing spot on darts, although he looked a little confused on his routes.  However, he connected the first 4 tosses, just barley missing the final ball.  And with a hustle, he ended with 6 point, in 33 seconds, and advances to the next round, joining Washington and another former winning school, Solon.

There are now only 2 openings left, who will compete next Saturday night in the final qualifying round.  If you're in High School, and would like to compete for the chance at the $500 scholarship handed out at the June 13th final, as well as $250 for your school, get registered now.  Again, this contest is open to all High School students.  We'll announce the first name on Monday.
