For golf fans, Des Moines is the place to be this weekend. It turns out country music fans might want to pay attention too! The Solheim Cup is coming to the Des Moines Golf and Country Club August 18th through the 20th. The LPGA event is much like the Ryder Cup, featuring a team from the U.S. against a team of top European players. It is a match play format and the event only happens once every four years. This year it is right here in Iowa and Des Moines is throwing a party!

On the first two days of the golf tournament, there will also be concerts during the evening. On Friday, August 18th, Jake Owen is the headliner with Rascal Flatts taking the stage Saturday, August 19th. Country music fans should also note that you don't have to buy tickets for the golf tournament to attend the shows, but there are combo packs available.

For information on how to purchase tickets for Jake Owen and Rascal Flatts click HERE. You may want to purchase them soon as some of the VIP tickets are already sold out!
