Is it just me, or does it seem like we have another food recall every week all of a sudden?

Mondelēz Global LLC has issued a voluntary recall for some of their Ritz Cracker products. According to the official press release, "these products contain whey powder as an ingredient, which the whey powder supplier has recalled due to the potential presence of Salmonella."

There have been no reports of salmonella caused by the products, but the company is doing the recall as a precaution. Some of the items you should be on the lookout for include:

  • Ritz Bits Cheese
  • Ritz Cheese Cracker Sandwiches
  • Ritz Bacon Cracker Sandwiches with Cheese
  • Ritz Whole Wheat Cracker Sandwiches with White Cheddar Cheese
  • Ritz Everything Cracker Sandwiches with Cream Cheese

The recalled items come in all different sizes and packaging. For a full list of all the products from Ritz you should dispose of click HERE.
