I'm the type of person who likes to take a shower every morning when I wake up. I've always just thought of it as part of the process of getting up and going on a work day. Some people say that a shower doesn't wake them up. We may have the solution to that problem. Here is a 90-second shower routine that will get your blood flowing!
First of all, shower like normal. Then, before you get out, let the torture begin! Blast yourself with 30 seconds of cold water. Switch back to hot for 30 seconds. Then finish it off with another 30 seconds of cold.
Now the cold water alone should be enough to wake you up, but by switching back and forth between cold and hot, it actually gets your blood flowing better. Give it a try this morning!
