Are you ready for some football?!

It starts on Saturday, September 2nd with in-state rivals Iowa State and Northern Iowa squaring off. That same day, the Iowa Hawkeyes open the season against Wyoming on the Big Ten Network at 11 a.m.

The big boys in the pro league start their season on Thursday, September 7.

Many players who were either born or spent their college years playing in the state of Iowa have gone on to play in the pros.
