Have you had enough of this crappy 'spring' weather yet? You are not alone.

Thankfully we'll likely see temperatures in the 50s and 60s by the weekend when the Cedar Rapids Kernels return home for a long stretch of games at Vet's Memorial Stadium.

With such crazy weather at the start of the baseball season, the team wanted to share the following information with ticket holders.

If you had a ticket to April 8th, 14th or 15th, keep your tickets because they can be exchanged for ANY regular season game left this season.

Sunday, April 8th  - This game will be made up as an evening game on Wednesday, May 16th at 6:35 p.m. The Kernels do play at 12:05 p.m. earlier that day, and that game is not affected. So if you have tickets for the 12:05 game already, they are still good for this game, however, your ticket is not good for the evening game.  The Kernels will hold a day/night doubleheader – however, different tickets will be required for both games.  This is not like a standard doubleheader where the second game is played immediately after and one ticket covers both games.  The stadium will be closed between games.

Saturday, April 14th - This game will be made up as a doubleheader beginning at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, May 27th.  The gates will open at 1:00 p.m. and the Kernels and Lumberkings will play two 7-inning games.  Only one ticket is required for both of these games.  If you have tickets for the Sunday, May 27th already, your tickets are good for both games.

Sunday, April 15th - This game will be made up as a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 26th.  The gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and the Kernels and Lumberkings will play two 7-inning games.  Only one ticket is required for both of these games.  If you have tickets for Saturday, May 26th already, your tickets are good for both games.

Season Ticket Holders:  All 2018 Kernels season ticket holders will be issued complimentary tickets to the May 16th 6:35 p.m. game.

If you have any questions you can call the Kernels Ticket Office 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at (319) 896-7560.
