According to City-Data, Iowa City has 86 registered sex offenders as of September 10, 2020, which by population size, is a ratio of 849 citizens to each offender. This ratio puts Iowa City higher on the safe list.
Cedar Rapids currently has 311 registered sex offenders living in the city at this time. The ratio of citizens to sex offenders is 420 - 1, which places Cedar Rapids in the middle on our safe list.
With 296 registered sex offenders living in Waterloo, the population of sex offenders ratio to citizens is 233 to 1. This drops Waterloo into the lower levels of the safe list.
