Pumpkin Spice is Officially Back at Starbucks
It's the first sign of fall!
I'm very happy to report to you that, as of this morning, pumpkin spice beverages are back at Starbucks locations across the U.S.!
According to an article from CNN Business, the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew are now available to order. I've had a Pumpkin Spice Latte and a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, but I have never heard of the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew! The article says that it's "an iced-drink topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice that Starbucks launched in 2019." It sounds amazing! If you need a snack with your fall beverage, there is also a pumpkin scone and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin on the menu.
This is actually the earliest that Starbucks has ever launched its fall beverages. In 2019, they were added to the menu on August 27th. Dunkin' already dropped their fall additions on August 19th, so they were really ahead of schedule! But hey, with the year we've been having, I'm perfectly fine celebrating my favorite season a little sooner than usual!
In addition to the pumpkin spice items, Starbucks has also revealed a new fall hotline: 1-833-GET-FALL. I called the number this morning and was greeted by a recording of a deep-voiced man telling me my options. You can press the numbers one through eight to hear different fall sounds, including "flannel on repeat," "knitting with grandpa," and "Pumpkin Cold Brew Falls." Knitting with grandpa was my favorite (number eight)!
We hope you enjoy your first PSL of the season and the many more that you'll order in the coming weeks!
